Turkey launched humanitarian aid campaign for the people of Afghanistan, delivering food aid to 15,000 Afghans in the cities of Kabul, Ghazni, Meydan Sar, Saidabad, Tahar, Kunduz, Baglan and Kandahar. The aid amounting 60 tons was delivered to the families of orphans and disabled citizens living in the farthest villages, as well as to refugee camps and hospitals.

A hundred tons of wheat seeds produced by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture have also been sent to Afghanistan. The seeds, which are planned to arrive in Afghanistan within 10 days, are aimed to obtain between 1,000 and 2,000 tons of seeds. Considering the geography of Afghanistan, 4 different types of seeds will be planted on agricultural lands with different physical conditions according to their own characteristics.
