Turkish has become one of the official languages in the North Mitrovica municipality in Kosovo after a voting by the Kosovo Democratic Turkish Party (KDTP) in the parliament.

“Today is a historical day for Kosovo Turks, today is our holiday. Turks living in every region and every inch of Kosovo will be under the protection of KDTP. We will always make our presence felt,” said Kosovo Democratic Turkish Party deputy Enis Kervan.
