Northern lights, arising as a result of the interaction of the Earth’s magnetic field with charged particles from the sun, arouse curiosity as they are rarely observed. The lights are generally green, but they can appear in red or brown tones. Tourists who want to witness this unique natural phenomenon travel 70 kilometers between Kiruna and Abisko at minus 40 degrees with sled dogs, where the sky hosts colorful light dances. Despite the freezing cold, Damla Açıkalınlı and her husband Tansel Açıkalınlı were able to photograph the epic natural phenomenon in Sweden. The traveling couple did not neglect to take a nature tour in the region, famous for its natural beauty and cold. After touring in the freezing snow, a warm meal by the stove leaves unique memories. The region, with its fascinating natural beauty, hosts thousands of tourists every year.
