Cihat Çelik, a bodywork master from Rize, Türkiye, constructed a unique house atop a 12-meter pole he purchased from a friend. Over nine years, Çelik meticulously planned the project with help from engineers, physicists, and mathematicians, dedicating three years to the design and six to construction. Despite his wife’s concerns and suffering a serious injury during construction, Çelik persevered. The pole, reinforced with concrete and steel, now supports a 70 square meter home in Derebaşı village. Çelik and his family now enjoy the house and its unique view.
