At the EFES-2024 Combined Joint Actual Fire Field Exercise in Seferihisar, Izmir, Türkiye is showcasing advanced weapons and defense systems developed with local resources. The Defense Industry Exhibition, held in the Doğanbey Exercise Zone, features technologies from 48 Turkish defense companies. Notable introductions include the mini smart cruise missile Kemankeş-2, which boasts autonomous flight and precision targeting capabilities, and the widely-used Mini Smart Ammunition (Mam-L and Mam-T) by Roketsan.
The exhibition also displays various advanced systems such as the TB3 attack unmanned aerial vehicle, H620 tracked armored vehicle, Amazon 4×4 multi-purpose armored vehicle, Altay main battle tank, and the fully electric, pilotless helicopter equivalent vehicles. These technologies highlight Turkey’s defense industry’s ability to develop and produce a wide array of weapons and ammunition, enhancing the capabilities of participating nations’ security forces.
