Türkiye has opened an export products pavilion in Chengdu, China, to promote Turkish products in the Chinese market. The pavilion was inaugurated at the Sichuan-Türkiye Economy and Trade Fair in Chengdu. It showcases over 500 Turkish products, including food, agricultural by-products, handicrafts, and cosmetics. The initiative aims to increase recognition and market share for Turkish goods in China.
The opening ceremony was attended by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Beijing and Türkiye’s Consul General to Chengdu. The pavilion offers a platform for Sichuan businesses to explore Turkish products and strengthen economic cooperation. The trade volume between Sichuan and Türkiye exceeded $1.22 billion in 2022. The Turkish Embassy in Beijing led the initiative and also celebrated the opening of Türkiye’s Consulate General in Chengdu.
