Zonguldak, Türkiye, firefighters rescued a cat that fell into a stream for the third time in a month. After receiving a citizen’s report, the team launched a swift operation, using a ladder to reach the trapped feline.
Remarkably, the firefighter recognized the cat from previous rescues. Once saved, the cat playfully tapped its rescuer’s arm, seemingly expressing gratitude. Both the firefighters and the cat departed safely following the rescue.
The 2,000-year-old inner harbor of Alexandria Troas in Çanakkale’s Ezine district has once again turned pink, forming a heart shape. Once a major trade hub, the harbor became a lake after losing its sea connection. Its pink color is caused by the microscopic organism dunaliella salina, which thrives in high salinity and warm temperatures. Known as one of the world’s eight pink lakes, the site attracts tourists and social media attention each year.
