Turkish guest workes who spent their annual leave on Turkey are on their way back to Europe. The border gate in Kapıkule, Edirne is crowded with guest workers trying to leave the country.
Orçun Kaya, one of the passengers, said “We are upset for leaving our families here.” Another guest worker İsmail Akar said “We work abroad for a year and come back to our homeland for seeing our families. We are allowed to stay only for a week or a month… We can not find the same friendship and neighborship there.”
