Abdulhadi Krasniç of the Democratic Turkish Party of Kosovo (KDTP) was re-elected mayor of Mamusha, the country’s only Turkish municipality, with 53.58 percent of the vote in the second round of local elections.
Kosovo held runoffs in 18 municipalities, including Pristina and Prizren, after no candidate secured over 50 percent in the first round. The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) won five municipalities, while final results will be confirmed after counting diaspora votes.
