Türkiye’s Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar attended the Turkey Investment Conference in New York alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Bayraktar met World Bank Executive Anna Bjerde to discuss Türkiye’s energy transition, renewable projects, and critical minerals.
He also held talks with executives of energy firm Hartree, reviewing the recent 600 million cubic meter LNG deal signed in Italy and exploring long-term cooperation. In addition, Bayraktar met Chevron Eurasia President Derek Magness to evaluate joint opportunities in LNG trade and hydrocarbon exploration.
