Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he was officially received by President Ilham Aliyev to reinforce their countries’ strategic alliance. During their talks in the capital, both leaders emphasized the expanding and effective partnership between their respective interior ministries. As part of his visit, Çiftçi laid wreaths at the tomb of former national leader Heydar Aliyev and at local martyrs’ cemeteries to honor the shared historical ties between the two nations. Speaking at the memorials, the minister highlighted their deep-rooted brotherhood—famously described as “one nation, two states”—and pledged to further solidify their cooperative unity.
