RASAT, the first national observation satellite designed and manufactured in Turkey with a design life of 3 years, has completed its 10th year in orbit. RASAT has passed over Turkey 4 times a day for 10 years. It took 7.5 meters black and white, 15 meters of multi-band resolution images from all over the world. The images taken from RASAT, which operates in a synchronous orbit with the sun at an altitude of approximately 700 kilometers, are downloaded to the ground station in TÜBİTAK UZAY.
