Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited Turkish troops serving in the EU Peacekeeping Force (EUFOR) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His visit coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide, where he is attending memorial events and holding official meetings.
Welcomed at Butmir Barracks by Colonel Mahmut Sert, Kurtulmuş received a briefing on Türkiye’s role in the EU mission. He is also scheduled to visit cultural exhibitions and participate in the Bağlar Sarajevo Writing Academy ceremony during his stay.
