Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had arrived in Jeddah city in Saudi Arabia on April 28 for a two-day official visit. After being welcomed with an official ceremony in Jeddah, Erdoğan met with Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and then proceeded to Mecca. Within the framework of his visit to Mecca, President Erdogan went to the Kaaba and performed Umrah. President Erdoğan was accompanied during Umrah by Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. Erdogan will return to Turkey after completing his contacts with Saudi Arabia today.
