Turkish Stars, the aerobatic team of the Turkish Air Force that flew to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing in Türkiye’s Antalya province yesterday, took to the skies today on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic. Starting the show by drawing a ‘100’ in the sky, the flight team performed various and colorful acrobatic moves, which fascinated thousands of citizens and tourists who followed the show at Konyaaltı Beach.
“The show is truly incredible. We are proud. I am experiencing a tremendous feeling. My son also enjoys watching it. Tourists are also watching with Turkish flags in their hands,” said a citizen named Sadi Bağcı.
