Turkish UAV Rescues Immigrants Abandoned by Greece

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has disclosed that irregular immigrants abandoned by the Greek coast guard were successfully identified using a naval forces unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In a recent social media statement, the ministry revealed that the UAV detected the immigrants in the Aegean Sea, east of Lesbos Island, and southwest of Dikili/Izmir on February 2, 2024. The Ministry of National Defense promptly reported the situation to the Coast Guard Command, facilitating the swift rescue of the irregular immigrants.
