Fifty women, who came together under the leadership of Van Doruk Nature Sports Travel Community Association and Doğubeyazıt Noah’s Ark Search and Rescue Association, organized a demonstration in Georgia against violence against women and the pollution that Lake Van was exposed to.
“We said ‘no to violence against women’ and our second goal is to draw attention to Lake Van and protect our nature,” said an organization member.
“We gathered to raise awareness about the increasing incidents of violence against women today,” said another member.
