The team, also known as the ‘Sultans of the Net,’ triumphed over China in a thrilling 3-1 finale, securing their first-ever championship in this prestigious tournament.
This significant win marks the team’s debut at the top of the global rankings. Prior to this achievement, the ‘Crescent-Stars’ had consistently performed well in the league, earning second place in 2018, third in 2021, and fourth place in 2019 and 2022.
