Türkiye and China signed new trade protocols in Shanghai, paving the way for the export of Turkish salmon, sea bream, sea bass, and almonds to China. Agriculture Minister İbrahim Yumaklı said the agreements mark a key step in expanding agricultural cooperation and food security between the two countries. Chinese Customs Director Sun Meycün noted that trade volume reached $33 billion last year and expressed confidence that more Turkish products will soon reach Chinese consumers.
