Türkiye and Saudi Arabia Forge Housing Partnership

Türkiye’s Emlak Konut Real Estate Investment Partnership (EKGYO) and Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Corporation (NHC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on housing projects, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” goals.

The agreement was finalized in Riyadh during Turkish Minister Murat Kurum’s visit for the COP16 desertification conference. Saudi Minister Majed bin Abdullah al-Hogail lauded Turkish companies’ expertise, calling it a “historic opportunity” to enhance Saudi housing standards.

The partnership aims to construct 400,000 homes in Riyadh and other major cities, leveraging Turkish engineering expertise. The initiative is projected to generate $500 million annually, reinforcing Türkiye’s role in the global construction market.
