Türkiye has deployed six F-16 fighter jets and air defense systems to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to strengthen security on the island. The aircraft arrived at Ercan Airport and performed a flyover after landing.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense said the deployment was carried out in response to recent regional developments. Officials added that additional measures could be taken if necessary following further assessments.
