Türkiye’s Navy led a multinational submarine rescue drill, Kurtaran-2025, off Marmaris, simulating a sunken submarine scenario. Using advanced systems like ROVs, rescue bells, and atmospheric diving suits, casualties were successfully recovered by diver teams.
The exercise, running April 24–30, involved naval, air, and land forces, aiming to boost national and NATO-level rescue readiness. 35 military attachés from 17 countries observed the operation.
