The Turkish company STM introduced the first domestic unmanned autonomous underwater vehicle, “STM NETA, at the SAHA EXPO Fair.
“The unmanned autonomous underwater platform we call STM NETA 300 is quite compact. It weighs approximately 70 kilograms and can be easily carried by two people. It has a modular structure. It can be programmed for different tasks. It is a product that can be used in many different areas, such as mine countermeasure operations, intelligence, reconnaissance or search and rescue operations. It has a structure that can perform autonomous tasks for up to 24 hours,” said STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz.
