Türkiye Invites German Automotive Firms to Expand Investment

Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır called on German automotive companies to increase their investments in Türkiye during the 2025 German-Turkish Automotive Summit in Berlin.

Kacır said Türkiye offers a predictable investment climate, strong industrial infrastructure, and qualified labor, describing it as “the reliable and long-term partner Germany needs in the automotive sector.”

He highlighted Türkiye’s growing role in global supply chains, noting its annual vehicle production capacity of 2.2 million units and record automotive exports of $37.2 billion last year.

Kacır also emphasized Türkiye’s push into electric and smart mobility through Togg and expanding charging infrastructure, adding: “We invite German companies to be at the center of rising mobility opportunities in Türkiye.”

More than 8,000 German-owned companies currently operate in Türkiye, while over 80,000 Turkish-owned companies contribute to the German economy.
