Türkiye successfully tested its long-range missile defense system, Siper Product-2, at the Sinop Test Center. Developed by ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, and TÜBİTAK SAGE, the system is designed to protect strategic facilities from air threats like fighter jets and cruise missiles. Future upgrades will target ballistic missile defense. Expected to be operational by 2024, the system offers multiple engagement capabilities and operates in challenging conditions, enhancing Türkiye’s regional air defense.
