In Antalya, the tourist city of Türkiye that defies winter, locals and foreigners continue to swim in the sea, which was measured at 19 degrees, and spend time on and around the city’s globally popular beaches in mid-January.
“We came from Ankara for the match. After the cold weather in Ankara, it would be unacceptable not to swim in the sea after seeing the temperature here. We had to enjoy this weather while we had the opportunity. The water is quite wavy but warm. I liked it. The coast is generally crowded,” said Mehmet Akif Zobu.
