In Türkiye’s inaugural snow rally, the Sarıkamış Rally, driver Burcu Çetinkaya secured a spot in the top 10, finishing 9th overall. Thrilled about the event, Çetinkaya expressed the excitement of participating in Türkiye’s first snow rally, a leg of the Turkish Championship. The female driver showcased her skills, claiming 4th place among male competitors and 1st place among women in her class.
Çetinkaya emphasized her commitment to challenging for the general classification and expressed hopes for the Sarıkamış Rally to become an annual tradition. She praised the rally’s breathtaking scenery and humorously mentioned the anticipated “race car in front, bear chasing behind” theme, expressing the desire to return every year. Plans are in place to expand the Sarıkamış Rally’s international participation in 2025.
