The 6th version of the International Mersin Marathon was held in Mersin, Türkiye. The marathon, which was categorized as ‘Elite Label’ by the World Athletics Association, was attended by 2,172 athletes from 30 countries, including Türkiye, the USA, Russia, China, the Netherlands and Kenya. Four hundred athletes competed in the 42-kilometer race and 1,772 athletes competed in the 10-kilometer race in the marathon.
