The number of visitors to Pamukkale, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List of Turkey and known as the ‘white paradise’, continues to increase. The world-famous holiday destination, which was visited by 403 thousand 748 people in the first 5 months of last year, received 561 thousand 549 visitors this year.
“I live in Germany with my girlfriend. We came to visit and see this place. We came to see the travertines and ancient sites. Our trip is enjoyable. I observed that there are a lot of foreigners here,” says Orkun Özay.
