The Stone Road in Kemaliye, eastern Türkiye, known as one of the world’s most challenging roads, has frozen due to extreme winter temperatures. Located between Kemaliye and Divriği, the 7-kilometer route carved into the Dark Canyon is lined with tunnels, sharp bends, and steep cliffs. The road, completed in 2002 after 132 years of construction, is usually popular with adventure seekers in summer. Local residents said ice formations inside the tunnels are now drawing photographers, while the route remains hazardous due to freezing conditions.
