Türkiye’s Washington Embassy Marks Çanakkale Victory

The Turkish Embassy in Washington D.C. held a ceremony to commemorate the March 18 Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Memorial Day. Türkiye’s Ambassador Sedat Önal, Turkish and Azerbaijani military officials, and senior officers attended the event. The ceremony honored the martyrs of the Battle of Çanakkale, highlighting its significance in Turkish history. A Quran recitation was held in their memory, reaffirming the strong ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
