According to Palestinian authorities, Israel attacked a mosque in the city of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, killing 26 people. The mosque, which is located near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, was said to be sheltering many displaced Palestinians.
The Israeli army claimed in a statement that their attack targeted “a Hamas command and control center that previously served as the ‘Shuhadah Al-Aqsa Mosque’.”
