Twin towers with a height of approximately 100 meters, built in Noida, India, were demolished by the Supreme Court’s decision. The construction company had colluded with government officials, violating a rule that prohibited construction at a certain distance from nearby buildings, which is why the buildings were demolished. Officials said more than 1,500 families in the area were evacuated 7 hours ahead of the demolition.
The buildings were demolished using the waterfall implosion technique, using 3,500 kilograms of explosives, reports said.
