Russian astronauts Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov went on a spacewalk last July to work on ethernet, electricity and power units on the Nauka module that Russia sent to the International Space Station (ISS). Astronauts, who carried out the 50th spacewalk at the station, started the mission at 17:30, which is the continuation of the work on September 3. They started to work through the cover of the Poisk module, and they were directed from the control center of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) in the capital Moscow.

The assassination attempt, carried out by a 15-year-old gunman, left Uribe critically injured with two gunshot wounds to the head and one to the leg. Despite undergoing multiple surgeries, Uribe succumbed to complications. His wife, Mara Claudia Tarazona, confirmed his death and thanked him for being a loving father. The 15-year-old suspect, arrested at the scene, denies the charges, and an investigation is ongoing into possible accomplices.
