Typhoon Doksuri, after impacting eastern China, has caused severe flooding in Beijing, raising the death toll to 11 and leaving 27 missing. Over 127,000 people were evacuated, and numerous roads were closed. The typhoon also affected Hebei province and Tianjin, leading to nine deaths, and the evacuation of approximately 850,000 residents. Earlier, Doksuri struck Fujian province, causing over $2 billion in economic losses and affecting 2.7 million residents. As Doksuri’s impact lessens, Typhoon Khanun is anticipated to reach China’s east coast tomorrow.
