Many rivers overflowed due to Typhoon Doksuri, which hit the northern coast of the Philippines early this morning. Authorities announced that one person drowned in the flood in Rizal province. Landslides occurred at more than ten locations. Many were evacuated to safe areas in the country. More than 4,000 passengers were stranded at ports due to suspended services.
China’s National Meteorological Center issued a red alert this morning, stating that the typhoon could cause storms and heavy rains along the eastern and southern coasts of China.
