Typhoon Kalmaegi has killed five people and injured seven in central Vietnam after devastating the Philippines. In the Philippines, the death toll from the typhoon has climbed to 188, with 135 still missing. Most fatalities occurred in Cebu, where entire communities were submerged. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is expected to visit the disaster zones as rescue efforts continue.
