Peru’s Moquegua region has declared a state of emergency in response to the eruption of the Ubinas Volcano. The eruption sent ash soaring to a height of 5,500 meters, affecting towns located more than 10 kilometers away. The government has taken precautionary measures, declaring an emergency in specific districts and preparing a shelter for potential evacuation. The eruption has impacted an area where around 2,000 people reside.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was officially received by King Charles III at Windsor Castle during his visit to England for the Coalition of the Willing meeting.
The ceremony included the Ukrainian national anthem and a guard of honor. This marks the third meeting between King Charles and Zelenskyy this year.
