Ukrainians commemorated their fallen soldiers who died in the Russia-Ukraine war near Independence Square in downtown Kyiv on the second ‘Day of Defenders’. Ukrainians held a minute of silence for the soldiers and laid wreaths beside their photographs. The commemoration was also attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
