Ukraine celebrates the 30th anniversary of its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar TB2 purchased from Turkey and other equipment belonging to the Ukrainian army took part in the ceremony. Officials from 44 countries affiliated to the European Union (EU) and NATO attended the ceremony. In his speech, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenskiy said that the aircraft factory Antonov will produce 3 aircraft for the first time in 30 years, and that new helicopters, tanks and corvettes have been built for Ukrainian Army.
US President Donald Trump has announced that a trade agreement was signed with China and hinted at a potential major deal with India. Speaking at a White House event, Trump said, “We signed a deal with China yesterday. We may make a big deal with India as well.” He added that countries not interested in deals could face tariffs of up to 45%. Trump did not share details about the agreement with China.
