The saboteurs, who were trained by Russia and somehow managed to reach the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, were caught red-handed in the capital. Kyiv police stopped 2 people who wanted to pass through the checkpoints on suspicion. When asked who they were and where they came from, the individuals who did not have any documents on them gave inconsistent answers. In the search carried out on the suspects, a notebook on which the duties of the saboteurs were written and a telephone line used in Russia were seized. The suspects were detained.

Israel launched airstrikes on critical locations across Iran, including the Natanz nuclear facility and military targets in Tehran, Tabriz, Kermanshah, Khuzestan, Ilam, and Isfahan.
