As a result of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine has removed the former Soviet Union’s coat of arms from the Motherland Monument of the WWII museum in Kyiv. The previous coat will be replaced with the Ukrainian coat of arms by August 24th, which is Independence Day.
Some have claimed that spending money on anti-Russian propaganda was a bad idea.
