US President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for not being able to end the war during his press conference at Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida, where he touched upon the Ukraine-Russia war and peace talks.
“This could have been resolved very easily. Even an inexperienced negotiator could have resolved this years ago without much loss of territory, without any casualties and without losing cities,” said the American president.
“But I heard today, ‘Oh, we weren’t invited.’ You’ve been there for three years. You should have ended it for three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal,” Trump said, referring to Zelenskyy, who criticized his country not being included in the talks between the U.S. and Russia in Saudi Arabia.
Trump also claimed that Zelensky’s support had dropped to 4 percent and said that there should be an election in Ukraine.
