The Ukrainian army attacked the Unecha oil pumping station in Russia’s Bryansk region, a key part of the Druzhba pipeline that carries Russian oil to Europe. Hungary confirmed crude supplies were halted, with Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto calling it “a clear attack on our energy security.”
Bryansk officials said the strike involved missiles and drones, sparking a fire that was later contained. Ukraine has hit the Druzhba pipeline three times this month, disrupting oil flows to EU states including Hungary and Slovakia, which remain heavily reliant on it.
