President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Zaporozhye after Kharkov, Ukraine. In a written statement, Zelensky stated that he met with the troops at the front in Zaporizhia and said, “I want to thank you for your great work, your service, for protecting all of us and our state.”
Stating that he held a minute of silence for the Ukrainian soldiers who lost their lives in the Russian attacks, Zelensky also visited a medical facility in the region. Meeting with civilians evacuated from Mariupol after the Russian siege, Zelensky said, “We will really help you solve this problem,” promising to take action for the proper resettlement of the displaced.
