Russia’s attack gains momentum whilst efforts of the Ukrainian people to block the Russian tanks and expel the soldiers from Chernihiv, a northern city in Ukraine. “What is all this for? Why did you come? This is ours, leave this place,” residents shouted at Russian soldiers as they advance into the city.

In the city of Chernihiv, dozens of people came together and sang the Ukrainian National Anthem against the soldiers by blocking the Russian tanks.
