Long lines of vehicles formed on the Romanian border as people flew from Ukraine. Most Ukrainian civilians, however, have to walk to the Romanian border because they do not have a vehicle. They aim to cross the border on foot, walking for miles with their children and babies.

A student in Ukraine stated that he was trying to reach Germany by crossing the Romanian border from the city of Kharkiv and said, “We do not want war. We want no war in the world. We pray for Ukraine. My mother is in Kharkiv. The center of Kharkiv was bombed yesterday.” she said.
