A section of a 10.2-kilometer-long under-construction bridge in India’s Supaul region collapsed at 07:00 local time. One of 10 workers, who were trapped under the rubble and taken to the hospital after being rescued by teams and volunteers, lost his life. The treatment of other workers, whose condition is not life-threatening, continues.
The bridge is being built to connect the Bheja region to Bakaur region and advances over River Koshi.
