An unidentified object exploded after falling into a cornfield in Osiny, eastern Poland, near the Ukraine border. No injuries were reported, but windows in nearby houses were shattered.
The Polish military said no airspace violation by Ukraine or Belarus was detected and suggested the debris could be from an old propeller engine. Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, however, said possibilities such as a Belarusian or Russian UAV, smuggling drone, or sabotage cannot be ruled out.
