A fire broke out at the Faculty of Chemistry of Isfahan University of Technology in Isfahan, Iran, at 19:38 local time. The Public Relations Director of the University reported that 1 lost his life and another was injured. Stating that the fire was under control, the director said, “According to the initial findings, the fire broke out as a result of a chemical interaction in the laboratory, but the exact cause is being investigated.”

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed 62,895 people and injured 158,927 since October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours alone, 76 people were killed and 298 injured.
At aid distribution points, deaths have risen to 2,158, with nearly 16,000 wounded. The ministry also said 10 more civilians, including two children, died of starvation, bringing Gaza’s hunger-related death toll to 313.
